To laud the seminal USBM project WEAKLING, Grst has prepared a tribute.
"Fire Therein" is an EP comprised of two tracks: a faithful interpretation of Weakling's magnum opus "Dead as Dreams," preceded by an equally close-fitting reproduction of "Cut Their Grain and Place Fire Therein," from which this submission takes its name. The half-hour EP represents the product of long labor on the part of Joshua K. Vincent.
Final drum, guitar, and keyboard tracks were engineered by Vincent and feature the additional guitar work of Nathanael Kelley (Aesthetic of Failure, Arkhum, Banewreaker), while the vocal performance was delivered by Kenneth Parker (Arkhum, Willowbrook). Vocals, mixing, and mastering were engineered by S. Parker in The Wilderness.
"Fire Therein" serves as a preamble to Grst's forthcoming LP, "Plague Seed," and was recorded during the same session.
This is GRD105 and GRFORTY.
